A Miami girl with an artistic-eye and vision for dramatic design transformations, Nicole brings fresh, creative thinking to her projects. With thoughtful perspective, she listens and guides clients towards their design goals. Nicole aims to make the process collaborative, personalized, and fun.
After studying at Florida State University, she began a career in advertising and brand-building events. She transitioned to home décor in 2015 with the creation of Nicole Stender Interiors. After years of creating beautiful spaces, her next step was to partner with long-time colleague, Stacy Troy, to form a collaboration that would balance their complementary strengths and past design experience on a larger scale. And so begins this new exciting venture, InHouse Creative.
Always one with a keen attention to detail, incredible work ethic, and ability to multi-task with the best of them, Stacy brings her business savvy to InHouse Creative. Having worked alongside Nicole Stender for the past 4 years, her love of design was fostered- especially when it comes to fabrics, wallpapers, and custom finishes. The perfect blend of her business sense and creative side are merged.
Born and raised in Virginia, Stacy landed in South Florida in 2001 at University of Miami where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After working in the field for close to 15 years, she is thrilled to continue this next chapter of her professional career in the field of home design.

I decided to improve my home office experience. The outcome of the project resulted in a creative design that transformed the entire room into a multifunctional office/guest room. Nicole Stender worked with my budget to maximize the space by recommending a Murphy bed, installing a custom wrap around desk, and creating a Mitch-spiration of black and white inspirational photos of different personal aspects of my life among other elements.
